1. About these terms

000000.dev is operated by VFLARED MODDING LLC (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you use the site, create an account, or buy a membership. By doing any of those, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a membership.
• Give us a real email address you can access, and keep your login private. An account is for one person.
• You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else is using it.

3. Membership and billing

• A membership costs $5.00 (USD) per month, plus any tax that applies where you live.
• You pay in advance each month by card (processed by Stripe) or with PayPal. The first payment is taken when your free trial ends or, if you aren’t getting a trial, the day you join.
• Your membership renews automatically every month until you cancel. By joining, you authorize us to charge your payment method each month until then.
• If a payment fails, your access is paused until it goes through. We may retry the payment.
• We may change the price. We’ll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

4. The free trial

• New members get one 7-day free trial. A card or PayPal account is needed to start it.
• If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your first $5.00 payment is taken when it ends, and every month after that.
• One free trial per person. We may refuse or end trials that get around this, for example by using several accounts.

5. Cancelling

• Cancel anytime from your account page. PayPal members can also cancel in their PayPal account.
• Cancelling stops all future payments. You keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for, or until the end of your trial.
• Cancel during your free trial and you won’t be charged at all.

6. No refunds

Because you can try everything free for 7 days first, and course videos can be downloaded and kept, all payments are final and non-refundable. That includes partial months and time you didn’t use. This doesn’t limit any rights you have under the law where you live that can’t be waived. If you think you were charged by mistake, email [email protected] and we’ll look into it.

7. Downloads and what you can do with the content

• Paying members can download course videos. Downloads unlock once your free trial has ended and your first payment has gone through. During the trial you can stream every course and read every article, but not download.
• All content on 000000.dev, including videos, articles, text and images, belongs to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning, not commercially.
• You can keep videos you downloaded as a paying member, for your own personal use, after your membership ends.
• You may not share, sell, upload, stream, publicly show or otherwise redistribute any content, share your account or download links, or use bots or scrapers to copy the site.

8. The content itself

Courses and articles are for general education. Technical work on computers carries risk, including data loss. Back up first, follow the instructions at your own risk, and use your own judgment about your own systems. We may update, replace or retire content at any time.

9. Breaking the rules

If you break these terms, for example by sharing your account or redistributing content, we may suspend or close your account without a refund.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The site and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost data or profits, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

11. Emails

We send emails about your account and membership, such as confirmations, password resets and billing notices. We only send newsletters, giveaways and discounts if you opted in, and you can opt out anytime from your account page or the link in each email. Any giveaway will have its own official rules.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you by email or on the site before it applies. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can cancel.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Hamilton County, Ohio, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
